Bait Shop on Star Lake

I have always found that ‘Visual Art,’ of all the creative arts, moves me and excites me. I hope to make something that moves me and also causes my viewer to feel the beauty thru the colors and depiction of the light. Oil paint give me the most depth of color and texture while allowing for my own flexibility. As far as subject matter, I turn to nature. I will frequently paint ‘en plain aire’ which translates to “in open air.” All of my paintings submitted to this show were done on location.
