Sunrise Loon

In summer on the Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes, the early morning air is often cooler than the water, so the mist rises and becomes lit up as the sun rises. On this golden morning on Rest Lake, the air was still and a single loon drifted into the pool of blue reflected from the clearing sky. Serendipity!
