Louise Randall

Artist Statement

Louise Randall is a realist landscape painter working in the medium of oil. Her artistic process began as a child spending countless hours exploring the outdoors of her native Wisconsin. A life-long love of travel and photographing all that nature offers has proved a great source of subject matter for her transition to the world of pastel and oil medium.
Participation in Colorado based art classes and plein air experiences have been balanced by formal training with Australian master artist Leoni Duff. Louise spends a portion of each year living and painting en plein aire in Tasmania, Australia, exploring another range of landscape colors and subject matter. She has previously exhibited at art shows in Launceston, Tasmania, Edwards, Colorado and Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin.
