Artist Statement

This is one of my favorite quotes. I believe that beauty and miracles are all around us but we're too busy rushing through every day to notice them. I appreciate daily life...nature, animals, people...even the mundane items we come in contact with every day are filled with beauty. There is so much to take in if we only slow down and pay attention. The goal is to really see and feel life each and every day.

I work mostly in soft pastel but I'm beginning to paint in oils and I'm learning wood and chip carving.
