Workshop: Painting with Wool: The Art of Needle Felting

Learn the basics of dry needle felting with Jeanne, including how to use wool and background fabric to create your own artwork. This class covers essential materials and techniques, as well as making simple 3-D shapes like vases and felted balls (note: not small creatures). If you enjoy working with colorful wool and hands-on crafts, you’ll appreciate this easy and relaxing workshop.
Presenter: Jeanne Weymouth
Jeanne holds a BA in Textiles and Design and an MA in Broadcast Journalism, with extensive experience in communications. Since 2000, she has been creating, selling, and working as an artist.
Materials to be provided by presenter: Jeanne will have felting pads to loan each student and will provide felting needles, roving wool and other fibers. She’ll also bring pages of ideas of what to create in case you need inspiration.
Workshop Fee: $10 for Members, $20 for Non-Members.
