Watchful Eyes

“Watchful Eyes” is a painting of Sisu, a Ragdoll cat owned by my daughter. Ragdolls are a breed with a color point coat and blue eyes. The breed is often described as “puppy cats” for the cats enjoy following their owners from room to room. “Sisu” is a Finnish concept denoting tenacity of purpose… so, together with her name as well as her breed, this Sisu often waits by the front door, looking out the window, watching for our daughter to return… always watching, always faithful.
